    Racor 120AP vent plug replacement

The Parker site says the ports are 1/4 NPT. The is a fitting opposite the mounting bracket, perhaps that is the vent and is 3/8-24 UNF?

    L4150 3point problem

I looked at the explode parts diagram.....ordered $20 worth of o-rings and had them shipped to the tractor....from Messicks. Looks simple enough....thanks for the replies!

    L4150 3point problem

A L4150 I worked on for a friend has an issue with the 3 point system. I sent it home after doing much work on it, now a couple months later the 3 point won't lift. The loader is operational however. There is no fluid leak apparent, so, I believe that there must be a seal (o-ring) that has...

    L3750: hydraulic oil filter clogged?

I put Mystic JT-5 in a unit, and after 3 hours of moving snow (bucket and 3 point) the new owner she the engine needed to be rev'ed up to get the hydraulics moving. She thought it was low, I said the fluid temp was probably high. Fluid level was OK.

    L3350 front drive shaft

Just looked at the schematic at MBTractor...the shaft is very similar to the L4150. The couplers are available...maybe. I'd be inclined to make the shaft.....it would keep everything OEM.

    L3350 front drive shaft

It's not that hard to make one, if you have a sample to go by. The spline itself is the hard part. it's going to cost some money to have the splined hobbed on one piece. Then there's the connection slip joints....if they are like the L4150DT. I'd be happy to make it....if you have a sample...

Kioti with Kubota engine clutch vibration

My guess is that the crankshaft endplay should be on the order of .005-.010....definitely not 1/8". When you apply some pressure to the clutch, the pressure takes up the endplay.

    Bf900...l4150dt

Thanks. It has new fluid and filters. I installed new seals in the boom cylinders. I will try the from the edge test. I do know however that it can left to front wheels off the ground pretty easily. I'm not familar with the tractor or loader. I had a L2550...I seem to recall that lifted faster...

    Bf900...l4150dt

Question, The WSM states the lift time for the loader boom....at what engine rpm? And if it falls short (takes too long) what might the issue be? It seems slow to me. Thanks!

    BF900 loader support legs

It was my experience on L2550DT, that if you applied downward pressure on the bucket...that dimension varies a bit. But yeah, I'll drill them in the correct position.

    BF900 loader support legs

    40 1/8"...I suppose 40 1/4" could be a good number.

    BF900 loader support legs

I will measure them later today.

    BF900 loader support legs

Thanks for that....I am also missing the two pieces that store on the pins right in front of the operator. Or is the 42 1/4" piece those?

I would be interested in the dimensions as well.

    L4150DT Front axle pivot machining

Remachined the front axle pivots on a 1985 L4150DT. No method to apply grease from the factory. Probably had to machine .100 off of the diameter, and then fit new bronze bushings.

Grand L3560 front axle grease question

The 1985 L4150 I've been working on had no provision to grease the axle pivots...the rear got a small amount of lube from leaking pinion seal....but the front? Major rust, major wear.

Grand L3560 front axle grease question

The rear pivot has the driveshaft going into that. On my L4150, there is a shield that covers the driveshaft....I guess you could be pumping the grease past the seal and now you're filling the area under the shield with grease. I just remachined both those pivots on mine. There just isn't that...

    1985 L4150 DT wiring diagram

I have the WSM for it, but the fella working on it claims it doesn't match the panel layout. The wiring diagram I found in the WSM was located in the L4150 Narrow section. Anyway, there are some diodes in the Easy Checker panel, he doesn't know if they are Zeiner Diodes or standard.
