I am considering a source for parts for my F2000. The parts I need apparently are no longer available. I'm not sure whether this is only a Kubota Canada thing. I did locate a USA supplier which lists the parts I need. Has anyone had experience with German-Bliss Equipment in Illinois?

Would you not need a filter specific for synthetic oil because it is finer to be able to properly clean the oil?

The manual specs for engine oil are pretty simple; 10W-30 would work at all temperatures. Do I still need to use the Kubota filter or should I use another.....I use synthetic oil in my P/U and a filter for synthetic oil.

What do you think about using synthetic oil instead of regular oil? My tractor is an F2000 3cyl. Diesel.

I did replace the hydraulic oil; it was grey. I had to catch it using a plastic bag because there was so little space below the opening. I took the advice given and filled it through the top plug instead of worrying off the top rubber cover. I also replaced the oil in the hydrostatic and...

Thank you both. It was dealer serviced in the past. I am trying to do some of the more basic things now. The gearbox has a circular rubber cover in the middle on top--how do you remove it. I think that is how you add oil to it. I have some SAE80/90.

How do I check the oil level in the gearbox of my F2000 Kubota's RC60-F20 Kubota mower, and, what kind of oil does it need?
