    BX 1880 VS Gr2120

Went to the dealer this morning. Checked out the GR. The GR does turn very sharp, not 4 wheel steering but it disengages one rear wheel (full time 4WD) and the fronts (pulling it around) turn darn close to 90 degrees, easily do a 1-1/2' radius turn. Not noticeable at all when the system...

    Need Recommendation For Air Compressor

I too, am looking for one in a few months for my new shop. Thinking 220V, 20 amp or less, auto drain, Hopefully 135psi or greater, love it to supply 10 CFM @ 95 PSI. but I'm flexible, Quincy or California. Will be in my building, on the second floor. Aiming for quiet and willing to pay a...

    BX 1880 VS Gr2120

More I think about it, the more the BX makes sense over the GR. I really do not like the vacuum assy hanging off the side. Interchangeable parts to my BX25D The BX1880 has a 3Pt that would stay on I recall my dads early Kubotas (30 years ago) BLEW the cut grass out 20', really would not need the...

    BX 1880 VS Gr2120

Therein lay the 'rub', what works great for me.... Local dealer DOES have a GR2120, so I'll check that out in person. My concern with it is the blower hanging off the deck and what will happen when I do something stupid (and I will). Actual size, a BX and the GR are about the same length and...

    BX 1880 VS Gr2120

Very close to what I want, (nitpicking) Shorter but taller bagger to make backing up easier. Bags on US GR and BX are fine. Odd engine power rating is so much higher than the USA version.

    BX 1880 VS Gr2120

I have trees, bushes, curving garden bed, every shape and sort of obstacle. Narrow areas, fences, 48" wide gates, a narrow (6') peninsula that sticks out in to my pond.

2008 Kubota BX23 engine in BX25 Temp Gauge Stuck pinned HOT

I was thinking..... If you could find a 'dead board' with still good gears, you could swap them in. Failing that, any sensor of the correct threads and mated with an off the shelf gauge would work fine (as Wolfman suggested). Most gauges read a resistance at the sensor (fairly standardized as...

    BX 1880 VS Gr2120

Zero turns, a few neighbors have them. While they turn super sharp, that twisting inside stationary wheel rips the grass off. So I am looking at a BX1880 or a GR2120 The idea of (if need be) the FEL on one and BH on my BX25D is intriguing though in 10 years, I've never had to do be in a...

    BX 1880 VS Gr2120

I have a BX25D with FEL and BH. Its my digging and moving stuff machine. For mowing, I want more manuverable, lighter and dedicated. I do not want to be removing mower deck, FEL, Bagger, BH, on and off with the 3pt arms. So I'll spoil myself with two machines, Is the GR2120 that much...

    BX 1880 VS Gr2120

Thanks for the thoughts. Light weight to minimize compression of the lawn Dedicated mower. No desire to be pulling the FEL and the BH off the 25D then putting a mower on. then swap back again. Old Craftsman (23 Hp Kohler) never bogged down, even had no issue pulling a garden cart grossly over...

    BX 1880 VS Gr2120

My old (25 years) Sears Craftsman mower has done its' last trip. Mower deck (#2) has rusted out, Time for it to be relegated to pulling the garden cart until the trans dies . Engine runs like new still at 1,450 hour. So... need a new mower/leaf sucker. The Sears did an 'ok' job with the leaves...

2008 Kubota BX23 engine in BX25 Temp Gauge Stuck pinned HOT

Hmmmmm spitballling here.... If you determined both sides (temp and fuel)have the same gear train, perhaps you can find a 'broken' panel that you could salvage from it to mix and match a set of working parts? Looking at your picture, it looks like dirt/mud got in at some point and hopefully...

    Are they all this STUPID?

Our county has gotten 'inspector crazy' (department got massive) but the inspectors, good guys. Permits reasonable priced. Quick to issue and come out and check. But you now have to get multiple permits for a job, no longer one for the whole job. Lot clearing, excavation, footing, floor pour...
