I love my Hypertherm. Great warranty support when it had an issue. I have miles of cuts on it in my cnc table and also have a hand torch that swaps out in seconds.
Only $2500 for the xp12000. The rest were what I started with for backups. $9k of batteries if I bought them all though. It's a fun learning experience and so far I have survived.
I have been running my Bridgeport on a static phase controller for 30 years without a problem but getting ready to switch to a VFD. For my CNC spindles I use Chinese VFDs. I switched to a single phase motor on my southbend lathe.
If it was built between 2020 and 2022 Kubota substituted many metals for whatever they could find. Maybe it's Chinesium. Time to find a professional welder.
