On my 48" mower the middle zerk was angled but got slightly over tightened and I had same problem as you, I replaced it with a straight one no problems greasing now. 7 or 9 mm open end wrench to remove, Good Luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Replace the fuse and tested out just don't use the lights then if that solve's the start and stop issue them find out where the short is in the light's and you should be good.

The solenoid also works on a fuse and will start but not shut off if that fuse is blown but I'm not sure if it's the same fuse as the lights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
