    rear wheel removal 3240

    thanks for the tips. I went out to the shop, put the lug nuts on loose, and let the tractor slowly down to the ground , and it was enough to brake the wheel free from the hub. no rust, but just a very solid fit. maybe i should smear some anti freeze around the hub when i reinstall wheels...

    hi, looking for suggestions on removing the rear tires, I have the big wide turf style on the rear. I was able to loosen all the lug nuts , but cannot free the wheel away from the hub. even with all lug nuts removed. any ideas I could try,thanks JG

    I notice while using the rear pto , that It starts to leak trans/hyd oil from the bottom of the tractor (out of the little drip hole that has that plunger pin hanging down) I assume a oil seal is bad, not sure what is all involved to correct this. if i dont use rear pto , everything is okay...
