    Closing the business

Thank you, Spam. I did try, and I did succeed. I said what I would do, and I did it. And, I was enabled to realize that there are good people all over the world. I built and sold 4,789 sets, and no one ever shorted or scammed me. There were many times where I shipped the order before receiving...

    Closing the business

Wise words, Grumpy. I appreciate every customer (4,790 of them), as well as the people that I have met along the way- on forums and groups, and in person. I have communicated with people that I would otherwise never meet, prayed for them, listened to them, and earned their trust. I take none of...

    Closing the business

Thanks for the warm sentiment! It's not by choice. The last year and a half have been brutal. Orders wained to the point that I have been barely making enough to keep the shop stocked. I can't keep that up. Messicks took about half of my business (stabilizers for BX tractors was half of what I...

    Closing the business

It's been a slow slide, but the time is here. I've closed the shop door on Stabilworks. I have supplies to make repairs- all warranties will be honored. Contact me through email or PM here if you have an issue and are still within the warranty period. I've never turned down a customer in need...

Racketing RH side link for my B2401DT

I have one of those, from Weavers, on my John Deere. I did make a bushing for the top mount; the other end fit the lift arm without any adjustments. It's been on my tractor for years now, working great. As long as the length works, the fitment issues can be worked out. It's worth the effort.

    B2401DT and a Woods RM59 mower

I ran an RM59 with my B7100, and it handled it great. I cut a lot of grass with that combo. The B7100 is 14 PTO hp, and I never ran out of power. That included finish mowing thick, healthy grass.

Rear 3PT side-tilt cylinder travel is not centered

It can also be an incorrect cylinder. If it is too long, it will have more down travel than up.

safety on a hill going straight up and down

Welcome to the forum, Spicytub. I mow a bank steeper than 20 degrees with my tractor, but I have some differences- no loader, using a finish mower, and I don't know how compacted or loose your soil is. I also mow it with a Steiner, which is like being on Velcro. It tows with the grade. I would...

Using backhoe to push my L2502

Does your tractor come to a stop when you take your foot off of the hydro pedal? If it does, there is resistance to rolling. It's an easy maneuver to put it into neutral before moving it with the backhoe. Don't risk damaging your transmission for the sake of a quick flick of the lever.

    Telescopic stabilizer kit opinions?

I build telescoping stabilizers for BX tractors, they are heavier duty than the Messicks version, similar price range shipped ($7 difference), and mine are warrantied for 1 year. If interested, PM me.

    Turning the pumps up!

From another site- both tractors had the hydraulics turned up. I know no other details, so it's no use asking. I'm just posting them to contemplate the end results.

Complelty lost looking for hitch components

He does ship. I have friends with an L2350- I can get photos and measurements of their 3 point (it's all original, other than telescoping stabilizers that I made for it), if needed.
