    Cat 2 vs cat 1

Have an new L6060 with Cat 2 3 pt hitch. Rear tires have total 1200lbs rimguard and I'm going to order a cheap cat 1 3pt ballast box (Chinesium, 5 cubic feet, 800 lbs) to balance the loader capacity. Going for about $240 delivered. I'll need bushings to get the cat 1 to fit the cat 2 hitch. As I...

    Daily Chuckle

I have security cameras on my lot to protect my equipment. Was reviewing video and noted a tired looking, hunched over, slow moving older guy hobbling around perusing my gear. Was befuddled by who this could be until I noticed I owned the same clothes as he was wearing. Funny how we have this...

Don't you just hate when that happens in the middle of the job.

    L2501 Hydraulic Top / Tilt

On the topic of top and tilt options..... I have new tractor (L6060) with one rear remote installed which was intended for future hydraulic top link. Considering adding option for tilt as well. So... do I get a second remote kit or do they make a diverter switch/ valve to switch function of the...

    3 point hitch

Have read multiple posts here on the forum regarding towing and having the 3 point hitch rise up causing potential damage or injury. I ordered my new tractor with a rear remote (at the suggestion of a tractor friend) with the idea of adding a hydraulic top link to add down pressure to prevent...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finally had a break in weather long enough to finish roof on shed lean-to yesterday. Will eventually install some rafter ties. More snow coming tonight but can't accumulate under lean-to anymore. Now just have to shovel out the frozen snow, add tarps to the sides, and move the small equipment...

    Diesel can fit

Yep, I see your point. I buy cheaper off road diesel (dyed) so I would not be able to use that in my truck.

    Diesel can fit

Yep, saw those. Pricey when compared to Jerry can though. Guess I can have convenience or money in my wallet, but not both, lol. As mentioned, raising can up ( step ladder, pallets ) could work with siphon. Or maybe raise can in fel bucket and then siphon with long hose? Build a shelf on a...

    Diesel can fit

Agree. Hate trying to juggle a heavy can while trying to depress "safety" valve to allow flow while trying to keep spout on target. I take cap off completely and use D cell battery cheapo pump from Harbor Freight.
