There's no threads and the part number for the knob is the same as the one on my B2650HSDC. 31355-82522. It is a 13mm shaft.

Try an air nozzle at the stem/knob connection or at the pinhole at the top of the knob to inject some air in there while you're twisting/pulling.

Your description isn't clear. Is the motor turning over with the starter but not firing? Or is the starter not functioning? "Jump start directly to starter motor, same." Same as what? Same- no response from the starter when power is directly applied to it?

Odds are that you're not going to find a clean 2-conductor arrangement if you cut off that plug. Many times the positive wire is in the center but the ground is just the braided shielding around it. Since it sounds like your electronics skills aren't the greatest, I suggest getting something...
