I was thinking the same thing. Under load I would think that rpm would fluctuate.i ordered WSM, but I did receive some material through email on electrical pressure switch***8217;s that control hydraulic valves and monitor gear speeds.will take some time to figure out, trying to save some time...

Is there a self test that can be performed to determine if the splines on the clutch are stripped or not? Shouldn***8217;t I have smelled something burning or heard unusual noise?

I will take another look at air filter but engine seems to be running fine. Will double check reverse gears,don***8217;t think I have this problem in reverse. Engine revs up and holds constant rpm,when operating back hoe she performs fine at a constant 2200 rpm.

Anyone out there have any idea as to what might be going on? I am thinking that this problem was a more common occurance

Where and what is the range selector, does the L5030Gst have one?

There are twelve forward speeds. No matter which speed your in it won’t go over 7mph. Shifting with the clutch or using GST result.

Owned L5030GST SINCE 2004. This last year i was unable to go over 7mph. C/O HYDRAULIC FLUID AND FILTER REFILLED WITH KUBOTA UDT SUPER, PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. CHECKED CLUTCH FREE PLAY ADJUSTED WITH NO CHANGE. DONT KNOW WHAT TO CHECK NEXT. LOOKING FOR SOME ADVICE. THANKS.DA
