I was present when mechanic removed scv and he tested it by turning on key while watching and listening to the scv. Never witnessed them check the supply pump. I asked the mechanic about the scanner he hooked up but he never really explained anything about it, just said it was a regular laptop...

Thank you . Mechanics put scanner on machine found no codes,they check the fuses but reported that there was 2 fuses in the engine compartment that they could not remove. So could not verify condition. lots of fuel to the input supply pump

Yes Thank you for reply, yes I purchased a service manual and had 2 mechanics look at it this past week. The mechanics went home without solving nothing but were delighted to soak $1000 out of me. Still no fuel to common rail.
