At 170 hours now. Am in a sandy conditions so it does get very dusty cutting grass in some places. There is no damage to it. Its the outer air filter. Wasn't sure if dry rot as these dry out over time. Maybe I will pick one up since its been 3 years.

Have been blowing mine out after every use. On my 3rd year. Is this a bad idea to go this long without a new one?

Thanks for the replies. I went with the BX for being compact. Fits great in my garage. Cuts grass great. Use a rear blade for moving snow Without issues. I put R4’s on for winter duties. They don’t make R4’s for the 1880, but the 23S R4’s match great for the 1880. Love the 2 inches of lift I get...

Anyone upgrade from a BX to a B? Am considering one. Going to check one out in next few days just to check dimensions and sit on it to get a feel. Enjoy my BX but lifting has its limitations. Everything else rocks with the BX. Thanks.

Whatever you max lifting weight is, subtract your bucket weight and quick attach ( if you have one). Not all attachments weigh the same so if you use forks, do the math. I added a couple hundred more to my ballast box after doing the math.

Reassessing my needs. Don't mind spending on quality but not if it will not work for what I need done. Thanks for the replies.
